Update Your Officers and Website Administrators

When a new group of officers takes charge, it's a good idea for you to update the list of officers associated with the club and make sure that one or more of those officers have rights to administer the site.

You can do both through the Toastmasters screen under Settings on the WordPress dashboard.

This information should be kept up to date so the software can function properly.

Charging for Events with RSVPMaker

If you use the guest registration function that's included on a Toastmost or WordPress for Toastmasters website, you're using RSVPMaker -- a WordPress plugin that can also be used to manage other kinds of events. Configuring RSVPMaker's integration with an online service, either Stripe or PayPal, allows you to charge for admission to events.

This is probably most relevant for district websites, but you can also take advantage of it for club fundraisers.

Recent improvements to RSVPMaker make it easier to switch between making changes to a default form, versus a form for one specific event, or forms for different types of events (webinars versus in-person events, for example).
