Click the button below, and something cool happens — a complete WordPress “Playground,” a virtual instance of the software, loads in your browser. This allows you to experiment with new website designs without worrying that you will mess up your club or district website.
Go To Playground Better yet, webmasters will find that there is now a Design Playground option on the menu. Where the generic version is based on demo site demo.toastmost.org, the version built into your own site clones your home page and other key elements, allowing you to see how your content would look in a different WordPress theme (set of design templates).
Tech note: The WordPress Playground software uses a browser tech called WebAssembly to create the equivalent of a web server with a database and the WordPress software inside your web browser. My customizations allow it to install the Toastmost recommended themes and plugins, making you the administrator of this virtual website. I’m planning to make my version a commercial plugin for customers outside of Toastmasters, so I’d appreciate your feedback.
