Regular users of the WordPress for Toastmasters agenda management features, including those who host their club websites on Toastmost.org, may have noticed some changes recently. The goal of the latest updates is to make more of the features club leaders need access to on a regular basis more easily accessible.
Here is a quick demo that explains what’s changed.
The version of the digital agenda that I’ve been refining for the last year or so had the option of different interaction modes, which you can navigate between using the radio buttons displayed at the bottom of the screen.

The modes most relevant to the latest changes are Signup for signing yourself up for roles, Edit for assigning other people to roles, and Organize for changing the timing or order of agenda elements. Much of the Edit and Organize functionality is now available from the default Signup view.
Why this change? My sense is that club leaders who need to reorganize their agendas haven’t necessarily found their way over to the Organize screen or figured out how to use it. I wanted to make those functions more easily accessible.
Now, if you are logged in as a website administrator or editor, you will see a toggle to display the Organize options for a role or note on the agenda when you hover your mouse over that agenda item.
For example, if the Ah Counter role has not been filled, I can take it myself, assign it to another member, or open up the Organize controls to remove it from the agenda.

Click the Show button to show the Organize tool options.

The website administrator can also decide whether other members should have access to these features, as shown at the end of the video demo.
Try these new options and give me your feedback on whether they are an improvement.
